Egypt and some other ancient civilizations believed in a trinity of gods.http://www.heraldmag.org/literature/doc_42.htm Would some of them have gone to Heaven because God is a trinity even though they worshiped other gods? What would they have to do to get to Heaven if they hadn't heard about Judiasm or later Christianity?

I don't think it would have had anything to do with them having a trinity, but I myself am inclined to believe that some of the people of most cultures will or did go to heaven.

Jesus told the Pharisees that (and here I am paraphrasing) that their claim to knowledge was the reason they were guilty of sin. He said that if they were ignorant of the truth, they would not be guilty, but since they claimed to know the truth, they were guilty for not acting on truth.

My God is a just God. How could He ever judge someone guilty for circumstances beyond their control, like whether or not they had heard of Christ or Judaism/Christianity? I think the same grace that covers the faithful Jews before Christ who had never heard of Jesus also covers sincere seekers of God who have never heard His name. Scripture says that nature itself reveals God. So no one has an excuse not to believe in a God, and if they worship and honor God as they understand Him with whatever limited information they have, then they've done all they can, and I believe God acknowledges this. And I believe His grace covers their sin.

The Truth is that God is everything, immanent and transcendent, so all paths lead to God.
