where /how did you loose it ? make a report for starters ?
if you lost it in a taxi, most cab drivers will return them so you can try calling the cab companies.

I never turn my phone off. Been on for 3 years 24/7.
All I know is you going to have to look everywhere. If, you suspect you lost it somewhere outside the house you may want to have your service suspended until you find it. Someone else find it and be calling their girlfriend in Brazil at your expense. Oh! That reminds me, I Lock my phone when I go somewhere in case I do lose it. Just remember your pass-code.
