Absolutely. You are probably keeping the idea of a white wedding as a recessed memory somewhere in your brain. A white wedding for a women is something she'll remember for life. Please don't say it doesn't matter where you get married because it does. I don't think many people dream of getting married in a registry office with 2 people from work witnessing their wedding. Then there's the honeymoon to Skeggie to play on the slots and a few games of bingo - If you have class then you have a white wedding - what's wrong with that?!

nope. You're not alone. I didn't actually start imagining my wedding until my boyfriend and I started to get serious. It made me realize, "wait. I have NO IDEA what I like. I better get an opinion. lol." So I started to think about it so that I wouldn't be totally starting from scratch when we got engaged. But as a kid, even though I was a girly girl, I never thought about it. You're right, though. I hear the steriotype that every girl has hers all planned out, and I totally don't fit that steriotype!

Yes I did. I think it was because my parents split up when I was very young and I always had this dream that when I was older I would have the perfect wedding day, wonderful husband and children. I've been really lucky as my dream came true. I had the wedding I always dreamed of and have happily been with my hubby for 12 years (married 4) with two fantastic kids. My mum made all my dreams come true on my wedding day, it was amazing!!

I always did but know because of the money I don't dream about such a wedding. Instead, I dream only to marry my love, I met him on Answers last year, and I love him so much.
I don't want so much people at my wedding.
I really want 2 or 3 kids from him!!
And live happy for ever!
This is my dream.
What's yours?

I never did!
I wasn't interested in weddings at all .. and as I grew up, i got terrified of the idea of getting married ... I'm not SO scared any more (I guess because I'm with someone I really love), but I'm still not sure I want that kind of a COMMITMENT, still, never dream of wedding ... never even think about it ... I guess I will have some ideas what I want when/if we decide to do it

I sure didn't, and even now...30 years old..when i get married, I don't want a big white wedding, too much planning, stress and $ for one day, regardless of whether it's your own and only special day or not. I've heard too many people regret going all out, and wishing they could go back and change it. There's noghing wrong with not wanting one, or with never dreaming or thinking about it...

Not when I was little. My mum got married twice in a registry office so i didn't really have the ideal to look forward to. Now when I think about it, yes I'd like a big fancy party and a gorgeous dress but to be honest I'm more excited about the thought of finding someone who will ask.

I never did. I never wanted a wedding at all. But I thought that in the future, I may regret not having family and friends there and memories to share with my kids. We had a good size wedding and I'm really glad we did!

I wouldn't say all women dream of a big white wedding, though I did and I got it. It was wonderful. I had eleven bridemaids in shades of coffee and cream and had a wedding dress designed and made for me. I suppose I was able to afford it cos my partner and I saved and plus I was my parents only daughter so they helped too!.
