I am a Muslim. I am 12. I don't think it's an overall violent religion. I can see where your coming from. That's a bit extreme though, i am not that strict but i was still born into the religion. I wouldn't call it "violent" either. But thanks for asking. It gives kids like me a chance to speak up.

Overall? I don't think so. But there is a buttload of violent one's in it. I get suspicious when a religion gets so political, no matter which one is doing it. Islam cannot be separated from their political aspirations.

No more so than christanity. Both go through periods of forced conversions and war against unbelievers. Whether they are violent at their core or just used by violent people for violent ends is debatable.

anyone who wants to cause violence will try to make it justified by the highest authority. Even irreligious people will justify it by logic, reason, or whatever word they have meaning what is right, some sort of a higher knowledge. They do this so that others will support their decision, and it can be justified in groups. religious people will always try to justify this kind of thing by god, to justify it amoung their colleages. You cant blame it n religions, they're being misrepresented by people who want to manipulate others to do what they want.

No more so than any other religion. Don't blame the tool for how people wield it. Some people people make Islam/Christianity/Judaism an excuse for hatred, bigotry, and violence; some make it a guide for peace, love, and philanthropy.

Not at all! that can be asked about ANY religion. Religion is not meant to promote violence, just stupid people who take the wrong route to promote what THEY believe and thereforth hurting the whole.
