I dont' think it would make any difference. As humans we accept what we believe as truth in its entirity. Even the sight of something may not be enough to convince someone. Our minds have a way of changing the "facts" or perceived facts to fit our idea of truth. Seeing is not believing.

Umm,

deny that he was god,

ask him to prove it with 3 forms of Identification, a hair sample, a blood test, a finger print, an employment history, 3 alternate tradelines, a verifcation of creation, Insure that his creators license was up to date, his interdimentional passport was stamped, strip search, metal detector swipe, and an ex-ray prior to entering their heart and mind, :)

I would give him an earful and ask some very tough questions like:

Why did you create Lucifer, knowing that he would bring sin in the world and create the need for you to create hell?

Why did you allow the serpent to tempt Eve, when she didn't have a knowledge of good or evil to guide her judgement of what he told her?

How can you enjoy paradise for eternity with the knowledge that humans are writhing in pain and torture in Hell for eternity?

Guess they'd stop being atheists. But it's up to any God out there to show his, her, its, or their selves. You're not going to convince anyone.

I will ask him , where is my seat. Either next to him or next to God of Hell....

I am pretty sure, next to Him. Since I talk bad about him and didn't believe him.
If He let any nobeliever goes to Hell, he will get worse.

What would Christians do if they find out they've been worshipping the wrong God.

It'd depend on which deity it turned out to be. If it was Zeus, I'd probably make an effort to learn Greek. If it was Odin, I'd flip him off and go worship Fenrirulfr. If it was Yahweh, I'd ask if Jesus was messiah, if he said yes I'd tell him to go to hell, if no, then I'd worship him and become Jewish. If it was Brahma, I'd probably do nothing different.

You tell me which deity or deities and I'll be more specific.

Well which God are you referring to? I mean with all the choices. Actually if there is a "God" out there I would hope it's Zeus. I mean come on! Mt.Olympus! Lightining!!Gotta love that right!

Believe in it, of course. The only reason for not believing in one is that there isn't any evidence of such.
