spook - the yahoo team wouldn't know the difference if you reported an original as cloning because they would delete the account without notice, and we all know you can't question the great gods of yahoo cause they never answer!

Er.... I take it you're not talking about programs or machinery so...
If I like a clone of the person better than the original person for whatever reason, why would I want the original deleted? While that would be ironic, wouldn't it also be murder and just plain silly when both can live however they choose?

A lot of the clones are better than the originals.We could end up with a forum full of clones and nothing else

An identical twin is a clone. Twins lead independent and unique lives.
I like one clone better than another. I married an identical twin and not her sister. Neither of them is the "original" -- they are two different people. "Deletion" sounds like murder to me.
