Go to walmart and buy pet stain and odor remover. Dump some down the vent. It has to stay wet to get rid of the smell, so it won't hurt for you just to dump it in there.

I haven't had much success with Nature's Miracle. Right now the product working best for me is OUT! Naturals. I don't think this is the solution though.

This is kind of out of left field but I think it has some merit. Just because you pour a liquid down the vent, doesn't mean it will hit the same spot the pee did. The pee might have had a tendancy to go down the right side while the cleaner might want to go down the left. I would call in a professional heat and air guy to clean the ducts. I'm not sure how much this costs but tell him your problem and have him pay special attention to that area. He should be able to thoroughly clean the inner surfaces of the vent and your heat and air will run more efficiently. This will also reduce your electric bills. Maybe not by much but have you seen the prices at the gas pumps? Every little bit helps. Good Luck

Well, based on experience I can tell you what will not help:
1. cleaning the vent with bleach
2. cleaning the vet and then spray painting it to cover up the smell
3. spraying the inside of the vent with an antibacterial cleaner

I finally resorted to using a Stick - up air freshener in the vent and it helped.

Good luck!

Buy a product called " Natures Miracle" sold in pet stores and feed&grains..it's for this type problem.
Pour into a spray bottle ( never dilute with any other product or water)..spray into the vent and leave it to dry.
Problem should go away.
I'm never without this product ( works on urine, vomit, food spilled on rugs or in the car, or food on clothes).
