Dear girl...I do sympathise with you,and can understand how you feel. Firstly,what they are doing in insisting your daughter calls this lady mummy,is confusing her and will lead to her becoming upset and stressed.Remember they are telling her one thing,and you are correcting her,and the poor little girl won`t know what to do if this continues.You are obviously dealing with people who have not given any thought to the fact that their behavior can be harmful to your daughter.They are not even waiting to build up a relationship with your daughter,which shows again the utter lack of thought here. Is there any way you can speak to the lady and tell her calmly what is happening.Perhaps reach an agreement on a suitable name for your girl to call her{her christian name would be the best} or write a letter?If it could be done amicably this would be the best outcome as it is what is best for your daughter that is the most important thing here.Do try a diplomatic approach first,but if that was to fail completely then perhaps the neutral custody investigator or some other suitable person could explain how inappropriate their behaviour is,because if the little girl was to become too stressed over this it may even affect your husbands unsupervised visitations...I do wish you good luck
