I'm confused about the being called someones boo or shorty. Is that better than being call beautiful or sexy all the time? What are the meanings of these words? Thanks for the help in advance!

they are just pet names. don't get too caught up in nicknames....
if you want, it means that you are special to him....

Okay shorty or boo means you guys are together and he cares about you.....It would be nice to be called sexy or beautiful at times but shorty and boo mean almost the same thing!

Boo means your his girlfriend, Shorty I'm not sure what he's referring to unless you're short and thats a nickname he made up for you. I would much rather be called beautiful or sexy tho. I hope this answered ur question.

Its 2 diffrent things to be called someones shorty or boo is basically saying your is lady. So that does not replace him saying u are beautiful or sexy.

Its a pet name. Boo means he loves you. Shorty means you're his chick. He's black isnt he lol....I call my man Boo too.

Well..."Boo" or "shawty" are gangster endearments. So sexy or beautiful are descriptions of how he views you....boo and shorty are like calling you "honey" or "sweety". Yea.....

If that's really the case, I doubt I might mislead girls I compliment a lot of girls that they are beautiful, but that doesn't mean I am attracted to them.....whether sexually or deeply in love.....It just means I Respect them

he obviously has gotten hooked to hip hop slang. shorty or shawty, and boo are slangs for you being his girl. a lot of women do not like this type of expression because it is demeaning to them as women of dignity. if you don't like it, tell him to stop frontin and be himself.
