Got some pastry dough. (you know the sheet kind, or you can roll out canned crossants) Layer with thin sliced ham and then sprinkle with shreded cheese. roll up and slice about 1/4 in think. place slices on a cookie sheet (spray with non stick first) coat the egg wash if you'd like to give a nice look. them bake for about 10 minutes. I top mine with a tad sprinkle of cheese as soon as i get them out of the over. you can find a ton of ideas at kraft.com

Sam's Club is the best! You can get lots of frozen things at a very cheap price! They have these quiches that are great, served warm. They have the roll up pinwheel sandwiches that are always a hit, served cold. Get a few packages of the smokies and some Bar-b-Q sauce, add to crock pot and serve! You could get fruit there and cut it yourself.....make a kabob out of the fruit....get four different fruits, one piece of each, so four pieces total per kabob. If you're crafty enough, get the huge block cheeses and some crackers...cut your own cheese cubes and arrange on a platter. This alone gives you quiches, pinwheel sandwiches, Bar-b-Q weenies, fruit kabob's and cheese -n- crackers! Add cake and you've got all you need for a wonderful food display!

this one is really easy goes a long way tastes great and looks expensive but isnt!
pack of ritz crackers
pack of philli cream cheese
lemon
some dill
a small pack of smoked salmon or even off cut/trimmings
spread a dolop of philli onto a cracker, thin one side and nice and thick the other to make it look interesting.
cut salmon into small strips - a little less than a small finger width and as long as a cracker, take each end of the slmon strip twist it once and place on cheese, add a small feather of the dill as a taste and garnish to look posh, when you have a plate full crack some black pepper over it and before you serve squeeze a little lemon juice over it.
yummy

Get an unsliced loaf of pumpernickel bread. Carve off the top and pull out the insides. Put those on a sep. dish. Make Spinach dip (some stores sell this ready made, if not follow the recipe on the back of the Knorr's vegetable dip). Pour the dip into the bread and serve with the top on, sorrounded by the insides.

I know this is going to sound nasty, but it's really good - never any leftovers. It's cheap and couldn't be easier to make. In a glass baking dish or pie pan spread 1 brick of cream cheese, top this with one jar of salsa. Either pop it in the oven on 350 for 7 - 10 minutes, or you can mic it. If you mic it, you need to make sure it's on medium. This is very important. Let it cook for about 5 minutes. You just want it to get warm, not hot. Serve with tortilla chips.

Cut sticks of celery into about 4 inch pieces. Get yourself some soft cheese (I get ones that have walnut pieces, black peppercorns, capsicum etc in them from the dairy cabinet in my supermarket) and fill the centre of the cellery with it.
This is so simple and easy to prepare that I often use it when I am short on time to prepare anything else. I get lots of positive comments when I make it.
I am not keen on celery so this is the only way I eat it.

Pigs-in-a-Blanket. The easiest/cheapest recipe!!
My mother made these awesome sandwiches which could be cut into bit-sized pieces. Container of chive cream cheese mixed with salsa spread over turkey and flat bread, rolled into mini-wraps. They taste expensive and are extremely cheap and easy. hope this helps these are the best!

tuna on a cracker (or canned salmon if you'd rather)
add black pepper, dill relish and raisins and walnuts to the mix. Go light on the mayo. Great stuff! You can add chopped celery to the mix if you like, or substitute the relish with just chopped onion.
Good luck!

Those bread slices with asparagus and chicken inside. Cheese crackers or water crackers with cheese slices. Savaloys in a bowl with toothpicks to hold em.
