OK! I know a lot of ppl who say they are Christians.
But they do not act like it when they are out of church.
So my Q is, if you are going to go to church, why not act like it all the time>? not just in the church?
I mean sure, sin is fun. there is nothing to say about that. satan wants you to think it's fun. just so you stay away from GOD.
But if it's wrong, y do it? yes i sin. everyone does. weather it is sparing some ones feeling (it's called lying!) or killing some one. they are both a sin. God detests both
So, if you are going to go to church, plz try and act like it.
don't boast like ''oh im a christian, im SO much better than you are. ur going to hell'' NO! ur NOT better than others. YOU-ARE-THE-SAME! God loves some on who is rich the same as he loves some one who is poor. He love the criminal as much as he loves the do-gooder. and if you are a christian, you would treat every one the same too. i know it's hard. But that is what makes you different frome every one. agree?

The problem may be that these people really are not Chrsitians at all, but just think they are.
I saw a survey about 1995 done by a church research group on how many Christians are real. The results were shocking to say the least.
The moderate to liberal churches believed that about 1/4 (25%) of their church members were true Christians. Thats low-
The Billy Graham Evan.Assoc thought about 15% of church members Christians were true Christians. Even lower-
The Independent Baptist-about 5%!!! Very low.
Now, even if we use the more liberal figure of 25%, this paints an awful picture. To me, this says that we have a lot of confused people that are headed for hell and actually think they are going in another direction.
I agree-I believe all denominations are just too user friendly today. This lie that God loves everyone and no one will be sent to hell is not a good doctrine.

First, being Christian doesn't make a person perfect, just forgiven. It means we recognize the error of our ways and, through God's help, are tying to do better, rather than we always succeed in this.
Second, to be a Christian is means that one recognizes that one is not better than anyone else. Any goodness that we have is a reflection of what God has done and is doing in our lives, not what we can do by our own ability.

Yes, I agree.
Some Christians think because they haven't murdered someone, but told a lie they are better the the murderer.
God sees sin all the same, and all sin is forgivable, except blaspheme against the Holy Spirit.

Your right and i agree with you. But this is what happens when someone reads scripture memorizes it, but it doesnt reach the heart like it should, and thinks hes got it made when in fact they are probably worse off than those who try to live a good live and may not know scripture as well as they do, but love from the heart.

Yeah you get some who can be like that, but then you get some who try their best to live a christ like life as they say, but each to their own agenda's yknw? No one is perfect so theyre learning just as much as the ones who arent in any religion. I mean I was baptized a Mormon but I dont think of myself as perfect I dont class myself as anything really I mean like you said we're all the same.
I believe in God with all my heart but I dont think of myself as a saint

They are trying to fit into both worlds. Without seeing themselves as doing anything wrong. They first have to be shown what they are doing wrong before they can change their ways. Who are we to say what is right or wrong with the way they act. All you can do is witness and attempt to teach them the right path.

So lets see if I have this straight. Christians are NOT better than anyone else, in fact as you put it, 'YOU-ARE-THE-SAME!'
And yet your last sentence says that Christians are 'different frome (sic) every one.'
Which is it?

You just sat in judgment of a whole bunch of people...is that how you want to be treated because God says he will judge you by the same measure you judge others.

People that just go to church and don't live the life of Christ outside of church are not only fooling others, but they are fooling themselves. You can't be both. God will say to them on the judgement day, depart from me, I never knew you. You have to serve him with your whole heart, not just on Sundays.
