Benadryl -- an antihistamine available over the counter. Used to treat allergic reactions. It will help the itching as well as other allergic reaction symptoms. Highly recommended. My doctor prescribed it when I had an allergic reaction to medicine.

Cortisone Cream can be applied to a rash if you have one.

Prednisone -- doctors sometimes prescribe this for allergic reactions to medications. You have to go to the doctor to get it.

Go to your doctor and see if there is a lower dosage or a different type of medication that has less severe side effects. Also, I always recommend ginger tea to offset nausea. It really works. Get fresh ginger, wash it and thinly slice a piece about the size of your thumb. Place it in a covered pan with about 1 + 1/2 cups of water and brew for about five minutes. Sweeten to taste if you like, and sip it. You can brew more to use later and it can also be consumed cold. The Korean stores also carry the prepackaged ginger tea bags. For the itchy skin, try Dr. Bronners Peppermint Soap (liquid soap that's available in most beauty supply stores.) It's very soothing to the skin. You could also try one of the olive oil creams to moisturize the skin afterwards.

I think there's an over the counter medicine called Emmitrol or something like that for nausea, or you could try Dramamine, it's an over the counter motion sickness medicine. It's worth a try, it might help with the nausea.

#1, contact your Dr and let him/her know you are having the reaction. This could be a very serious side effect and can be deadly, depending on the medication and the extent of your allergy!!!!!
