Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. He lived from approx. 3-6 BCE to 33 CE, and was the leader of a religious movement centred on twelve apostles (who were supplemented by an additional 90-500 disciples.)

In Christian theology, Jesus is the Son of God, and also one of three persons in the Godhead (the others being God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.) His role in the Godhead is one of service and atonement, specifically, vicarious atonement: his execution in 33 AD is seen as the price paid for the "sins of many."

Jesus is the son of God. He was sent to die for the sins of the world. He is the Christ, the savior, the everlasting, the redeemer, the healer, the way, the truth, the light.

Jesus the man was born a Jew; not white, not black, a Jew. He was a carpenter, a prophet, a son and a friend. Crucified by his own people. They did not accept him as the Christ. That does NOT mean Jewish people are bad; they are God's people. Christ died for our sins so that we may have eternal life: All of us.

Jesus is the Lord's son, He sent to earth through the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, and gave his life for our sins to be wiped away. Jesus is the lover of our souls, he gives us happiness. If we have a relationship with Him, we are truly a child of God. Jesus will come back to get all of His followers and take the into Heaven with Him. Non-believers will live on earth as it decomposes, without the love and kindness of Christians. I pray for those who are left behind, Follow the one who gave you air, and no one else!

Christians (including Catholics) believe that Jesus was totally God and totally human. This miracle is called the Incarnation.

The Nicene Creed (from the year 325) talks about what Catholics believe about Jesus Christ:

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains what we believe in depth:

With love in Christ.

My favorite explanation is in John 1:1. "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God". Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. The bible leaves no doubt about it. Jesus is : Creator, Provider, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Holy One, God in the Flesh. We have but one response to these amazing truths when we encouter him : prostrate, praise & worship him.

Jesus was a Jew who was born in Bethlehem, raised in Galilee, and killed in Jerusalem.

he was faithful to the law of Moses, learned in Jewish scriptures and oral law, steeped in the spirit of the Pharisees, and expectant of the coming of the Messianic Era In his day

According to the Talmud, Yeshu was the son of a Jewish woman named Miriam who was betrothed to a carpenter. "Betrothed" means she was legally married to him, but she was not yet living with him or having sexual relations with him. The story says that Miriam was either raped by or voluntarily slept with Pandeira, a Greek or Roman soldier. Miriam than gave birth to Yeshu

The Talmud describes Yeshu as a heretic who dabbled in sorcery and lead the people astray. Later, the Sanhedrin ordered Yeshu stoned to death and his dead body was hung from a tree until nightfall after his death, in accordance with the ancient Jewish punishment for heretics.

Jesus was a Jewish man who was executed and later given divine status by the Christian church.

Jesus is a beacon of light; a 'figurehead' guiding us to a fuller relationship with God. May that light never go out.

A mythical entity like unicorns. However, since the Christians believe in it supposedly the son of God. My query is aren't we all suppose to be sons and daughters of God.
