I don't think so. The question was very open, invitations were made for those who had missed it to redress the balance and it was clear that the presumption was made on the data available, which was not pretended to be scientific (and the follow-up question did not suggest it was). Whichever way you want to look at it though, a 15/18 (at the time) atheist population is out of proportion to any general population you could name. My fear was that non-doning theists were simply ignoring the question, skewing the data absurdly. What is wrong with interpreting what was indisputably there?

Now, are you?

When I answer a question, I am answering (speaking) to the questioner, and I try to make that evident in my answers.

When I speak of Christians though, of which I am one, sometimes I catch myself and am more specific in my personal beliefs as a reborn, spirit filled, child of God, because not all "Christians" believe in using the Gifts of the Spirit", etc....

But, Lord have mercy, it is HARD to have to be specific as to which group of Christians I am speaking from!

So, yes.....I am guilty of not being clear on that issue....(sorry)

Maybe I should have used the screen name "the "different" one" instead of "ForeverSet"? [Hmmmmmmmmm...]

I honestly must confess that I am guilty as charged.

I tend to blame the followers of organized religions for the problems that are actually the fault of the religious leaders of them.

Absolutely not. I am Muslim and I know how it feels when people think badly of your beliefs because of how a small percentage of followers act. I do not generalize and I try to see each person for who he/she really is.

Definately. Its wrong, but EVERYONE does it. However, when you know its wrong and you know its just you who is saying these things because you are angry or hurt, whatever..its still wrong, but at least you know it is. There are many people who go about saying wrong things for their entire lives without a thought to correct it.
