I'm more likely to find the teachings of men to be far-fetched. For example, the belief that we're born sinners (also known as "original sin"), or that the unsaved literally burn in Hell forever. These aren't concepts that can be found in the Bible, per se -- instead, they're doctrines that were perpetuated by early writers such as St. Augustine.

When people get critically self righteous. I know that Christians can hurt me when they get into self righteousness. Only because the spiritual devil plants false accusations.
So, I don't believe false accusation whether from Christians, family or others (whether aimed at me or others). Though Christians, family & others mostly don't do this but are loving & showing good fruits. So, I learn to walk in forgiveness but try to correct a false accusation or people speaking their fears.
The Lord won't let me believe errors blindly, but always confirms the truth in my spiritman or understanding what the Pastor is preaching & discern errors. It is true that Pastors are human and makes mistakes here or there. But the Holy Spirit will reveal that to the Christian. One has to recognize that there are many people in the congregation who take things & understand things a little differently. So, to be able to preach the Good News needs to be done by the Grace of God. The Holy Spirit is also at work in each individual.

I can't imagine that I would feel bad about not walking out onto an interstate highway where traffic was heavy and speeding along at oh lets say 70 mph (some big semi's in there too) without looking first - that my mind couldn't believe blindly that I'd be just fine. Why would you behave any differently when it comes to matters of the deepest and most profound knowledge about spirituality.

There are things I find far-fetched in my religion. Some of them I believe, but I still objectively realize they are far fetched.
Jesus rising from the dead - it is far fetched. I believe it to be true, but it is downright incredible. A body that has been in the tomb for 29 hours would have a brain completely beyond reactivating. So how could it happen, other than supernaturally?
I think the whole point of religion is to seize the far-fetched and say, "This is my hope." Some find that ridiculous.
I find it powerful.

Whats so far fetched about walking on water, being omnipotent, turning water into wine, raising the dead, creating the universe, getting all the animals on boats, plagues, and parting seas. Anyone can do all that stuff, right?

Other than televangelists that scream "God will take me away if you don't give me 10 million dollars!" No, there's not anything far fetched in my religion.
