It became a hangout of Christians and those that would debate them. It seems that the main assumption is that religion=Christianity. I've tried to get discussions of other religions going around here, but it doesn't get much traction. Mostly there are proselytizers and a lot of very young Christians who really haven't thought about much of what they have been told.
I'm a Buddhist. A religion/philosophy if you will, and I know there are other Buddhists around here, but we don't talk much in this category.

Its still here but like many of the other categories-except for home improvement- everyone becomes their ultra super ego and acts in ways they(hopefully) would not act in person

I personally think it's turned into the Jokes & Riddles category. Seems like more than ever, no question is really about religion or spirituallity.

fyi the first answerer,atheists have as much right to be spritual as anybody.....also,whether we like it or not,your religion is down our throats too! especially atheists who are living in the USA

We should all resepct poeple's beliefs and stop slandering them. If you have an opinion, then answer respectfully!
You only make your religion look bad when you answer hurtful... Don't give your religion a bad name......... (I'm a Christian... :)
