Use ibuprofen cream (Powergel)

A good neck stretch is to stand as straight as you can and then try to tuck your chin into your chest.

By trying to keep a straight back and 'tuck in' at the same time you should feel the pulling across your shoulders and your neck.

Hold the pose for short periods and repeat but do not go to mad as you will feel it across the shoulders.

The Jews were stiffnecked in the OT (sorry I keep forgetting what you call the whole collection from Genesis to Malachi) - every prophet accused them of that. Now they have actually gotten to the point where they believe their religion and are willing to follow their God. I'd say they are very humble. Actually I'd say that the majority of Christianity is stiff-necked. They hold close to their gospel with their tongues but their hearts and actions are far from it. Maybe if they'd gone through as much tribulation as the Jews have they might appreciate it a little more.

use a heating pad or hot towels on the neck for twenty minutes. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the neck. Be sure you sleep on your back so that you have less stress on the neck area. Make sure you have a good pillow.

Advil soft gel capsules work very quickly to take down pain. Use them four times a day.
