I say this to all those I answer about dreams. Dreams are made up sometimes of the brain's most extreme example of something. Maybe you're having something to do with a thief? A new 'friend' that is up to no good? Be careful and cast a weary eye at your belongings- soeone might try to take them from you. Otherwise, this could just be a fragment of a movie that you watched, something that you read about, either in a newspaper or book. Besides that,it could just e one of those utterly pointless dreams that you have besically nothing to do with. Hope this helped! ;)

dreams are either interpretable as predictions(an unlike use as it would require that destiny be possible) or they are a reflection of what u fear might happen or what u have actually experienced happening.

if u accept redictions as possible then id say ur likely to experience loss of valuable(not nessacarily monetary) items

if how ever you believe that dreams are a way for ur brain to occupy itself while u sleep drawing forth images from your vast bank of experiences seemingly at random, then u have nothing more to worry about then perhaps thinking good thoughts before bed would fix these dreams.

the other possibility is that the thoughts are selected less randomly, so perhaps u have a subconcious fear(or perhaps concious) which guided the quest for imagery.

a combination of all three is also possible, but the most likely is the last, when u sleep concious thought is almost intirely suspended, the brain wanders, and where it finds strong (or important) memories or thoughts it builds on them.
sensory depravation tanks allow people to experience waking dreams, becuase of the lack of sensory input the brain will after a period begin to provide sensory data simply to occupy itself.

becuase some dreams frighten or excite us in someway, they become more important, the recurring nightmare is a classic example, children who experience these vivid dreams can make them so important that they develope quite serious psychological truama, which can affect them well into their lives.(phobias, such as fear of the dark for an example)
now if you dreamed night after night of stealing stuff, what would u think?
so if u dream of people stealing stuff(don't think people are) think ur scared they will. dreams are a reflection of ur inner workings.

my wife has nightmares, but she loves scarey movies.

It can mean you opened up an area in your life for your possession to depart from you, because you are not watching your life carefully. Read Luke 12:39. If the goodman of the house had known what time the thief was coming, He would have watched and not suffered his house to be broken through.
