Aye, and, much like Pans labyrinth, this fairytale for adults SUCKS! It lacks imagination and it's plot lines are something only a child could enjoy. And besides, god has nothing to do with government - if he did, Bush would NOT be president.

The point of capitol punishment is that they should not be allowed to go on living, knowing what they got away with. Anything less than death means they got away with it.

The problem with understanding why God does something is really because we do not have the knowledge that He does. For example some bad things happen that end up working for the good of the person they happen to. I can give my own example. My parents abandoned me when I was in 7th grade. Was it a terrible time? You bet! Was I fretting and wondering what God was up to? You bet! But, God in His Infinite wisdom and loving care of me saw fit to allow me to go through that time to put me in a loving home with a Christian family and I had the best life there. He also gave me a new perspective on myself, on life and on His love for me. The other thing we have to remember is that He is a just God. Which means He demands Holiness. When His people do not obey His word he is obligated like any good parent to set them straight. He knows the means by which will be the best motivator. Sometimes it is definately unpleasant, but in the end it is out of love that He disciplines us to keep us out of trouble. Now to the hard question the kids in the burning car, I don't know if we will know for sure this side of heaven why. I do know that in heaven they have no regrets and maybe the Lord saw fit to take them out of this world and save them from whatever they may have to face if they stayed here on Earth. I can also say that mental anguish is much worse than physical in my opinion. I am also a cancer survivor. Although pain is definately horrible, I can't imagine a minute without Jesus as my Savior! That would be the most horrifying thing for me to go through. Now maybe these children in the car crash didn't have to go without Him, but maybe if they stayed here on this earth they would have had some other terrible mental anguish and God saw fit to take them out of here before they had to deal with that. It is always difficult to play the what if game, because He is the only one with all the answers. Just remember that God so LOVED the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not die ( etermally ) but have everlasting life. I hope that I answered your question. God Bless you for asking the hard questions.

I don't know why you're asking this question, if you think God is a fairy-tale for adults. "Fairies" and their tales came from godless heathens with a pension for hugging trees.

But, to answer your question, I cannot prove that because it is not true. Read Romans, Chapter 13. God is in ultimate control of every ruler appointed over us, as well as everything that ever takes place. That being said, stop worrying about "innocent" kids burning and start thinking about yourself. It's not as if you cherish human life above yours or anything, right?

Right.

Maybe you are from indonesia. There are things l dont understand why it's happening and l wonder what's gonna happen next. I saw disaster after disaster that killed so many people. Fire, landslide, typhoons, earthquake and so on. What ever is gonna happen next, nobody should be blame but the disaster itself, not God

OK. When then how about mass killings of infidels, or Jews, or any other group of non-Christians? Couldn't that be God's plan?

For the first poster: a 'Christian" recently told me that the commandment was actually, "thou shalt not murder", which made killing in war acceptable.

Too bad thou 'halt not rationalize' isn't on that list, huh?

We actually need Capitol punishment. Politicians wouldn't be so corrupt. Capital punishment is for the rest of us lawbreakers.
