I murdered my baby. I regret it every day, and I have begged God over and over to please forgive me.

how dare you cast the first stone. Who do you think you are. I am inclined not to answer but your ignorance needs to be addressed.
A person that has had an abortion is a sinner yes, a murderer yes. Thank God that our judge is not you. Thank God we do not have to answer to you. You don't sound even a hint as forgiving as God is. That's why he is God and you are not.
There is not always something selfish and vain about abortion. Stop being so narrow minded and start being a Christian.
I am so ashamed to be lumped in the same category as you- Christian that is. I don't believe you truly are one. Doesn't sound like it anyway.
You have no idea what a person goes through in life and neither do I. I can tell you what I went through. That's just my story- no-one else's. Love the sinner not the sin. Sounds like you hate both.
Yes, I have had an abortion. I do take full accountability for my actions. I was young and easily influenced by my mother and boyfriend. It was ultimately my decision though. I have been more than forgiven by God he has forgotten it to. That's what happens with God- once you repent and turn from sin God wipes the slate clean.
I do still cry over it- its been 16 years.
I hope you can sleep well at night with the contempt for others you have in your heart. Maybe you need to worry about your own sins and stop worrying about the sins of others.
You are accountable to God for your actions to.

Question No 42321
Ruling on aborting a pregnancy in the early stages

Question:

What is the ruling on aborting a pregnancy in the early months (1-3) before the soul is breathed into the foetus?.

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

The Council of Senior Scholars issued the following statement:

1 – It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy at any stage unless there is a legitimate reason, and within very precise limits.

2 – If the pregnancy is in the first stage, which is a period of forty days, and aborting it serves a legitimate purpose or will ward off harm, then it is permissible to abort it. But aborting it at this stage for fear of the difficulty of raising children or of being unable to bear the costs of maintaining and educating them, or for fear for their future or because the couple feel that they have enough children – this is not permissible.

3 – It is not permissible to abort a pregnancy when it is an ‘alaqah (clot) or mudghah (chewed lump of flesh) (which are the second and third periods of forty days each) until a trustworthy medical committee has decided that continuing the pregnancy poses a threat to the mother’s wellbeing, in that there is the fear that she will die if the pregnancy continues. It is permissible to abort it once all means of warding off that danger have been exhausted.

4 – After the third stage, and after four months have passed, it is not permissible to abort the pregnancy unless a group of trustworthy medical specialists decide that keeping the foetus in his mother’s womb will cause her death, and that should only be done after all means of keeping the foetus alive have been exhausted. A concession is made allowing abortion in this case so as to ward off the greater of two evils and to serve the greater of two interests.

I do believe that abortion in most cases is wrong, and that a fetus is a child and deserves the right to live if I have made a choice to have sex.
I think that what you said though is judgmental and accusatory, in very poor taste.
My sister-in-law was young and got pregnant and she had an abortion, to this day she regrets it and felt like she never truly understood the mental and emotional ramifications that her actions would have.
She has since had two children and I believe she is now against abortion, from her personal experience she says she thinks people should bring the baby to term and have it adopted out to a family who can not have their own children.

I have never had an abortion- and never would- and I feel it is wrong in any situation- HOWEVER- thanks again for proving non-believers right- Why can't we love the people who have had abortions- and maybe, just maybe, they will come asking for forgiveness- instead of making them feel even more shameful then some already do. God does not like abortion- granted- however he loves those women who have chosen that path- and is lovingly drawing them to Himself. Jesus died for ALL the sins of the world- people have choices to make- Maybe instead of asking it this way, you could have said;
"Is there anyone out there that is struggling with a past abortion? If so contact me and I will share the forgiveness you can find in Christ?" If anyone is reading this answer, and find yourself in this situation- email me- I have counseled women who are pre-abortion and post-abortion and what they need to hear is that God loves them.

The Bible doesn't state that any sin is greater than another. For instance, being homosexual (if you define that as a sin, which I don't) isn't any worse than stealing and murder isn't any worse than committing adultery. And presuming to judge others and assuming you know God's will and other's hearts is a sin too. So shame on you, and if you contineu down this path, your the one whose going to be enjoying the burn.

You are a troll, but I'm going to answer anyway.

I'm a guy, so I've never (and will never) have to have an abortion.

I've only gotten one woman pregnant, and it was my wife - we have a beautiful daughter.

She had another failed pregnancy - and had to have it removed before it miscarried (oh, and anyone who thinks she should've ignored the doctors advice and tried to keep it - the foetus was dead - so shut the f**k up).

I would hope that noone would ever have an abortion, but I support their right to choose. If by some bizarre chance christians are right about anything (not likely) then they may have to answer to god.

But they sure as hell don't have to answer to you.

In some people's case, they should make it retrospective. Who are you to determine how another person lives, or like most christians are you so without guilt that you can happily chuck rocks? What about your "judge not lest ye be judged"? Typical hypocrisy from a male christian regarding how women should treat their own bodies.

I have labored for the lives of the unborn and their mothers for almost 20 years! I have been arrested over 20 times for peacefully intervening on their behalf! I have adopted 3 children (so far) who were saved from abortion! I have done it all for love of Jesus and not for myself! What you are doing here is not in the love of Jesus! There are things that you say here that are not your concern! God will deal with the people involved in His way, not yours!

Please remember that Jesus died for the abortive mother, and the abortionists and his helpers, just as He died for you and me! If they are condemned to Hell, it is not because of the abortion (as terrible as it is)! They will be condemned because they do not trust in Yeshua as their Lord and Savior!

I know the anger that you feel! At times, I have felt it, as well! However, it is not righteous anger! Don't give in to it!

For Meg M: There is forgiveness through Jesus Christ! Turn to Him, and only Him, and He will cleanse you of all unrighteousness! E-mail me and we can discuss it!

I sincerely hope your a religious satirist and poking fun at the few people in the world who feel that way. If you truly feel that way, shame on you for judging those who have made a difficult choice (for right or wrong).

I surely don't know who you follow, but God forgives those who repent. I pitty the self-righteous life you lead, and hope God humbles you.

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

What of God's slaughter of the innocents (miscarriage)?

There are way more miscarriages in this world than abortions. Why does God want these innocents to die?
