I am an intellectual and I came up with the truth in 1956. Read John 3:16.

Possibly, but has it also occured the Christians they share the same fate. Most religious people talk of rituals (first communion), sayings (God Bless you), cite passages (once saved ALWAYS saved, Jesus is the way) but don't walk in the sandals of Jesus nor his disciples.

They had no home, no money, the walked everywhere, they spread the word, they did work, twice or three times the work.

Jesus said we COULD ALL DO WHAT HE DID

We just can't see past our noses

I don't see ANYONE walking on water, turning water into wine, yea a few are tending to modern lepers and boy scouts can sometimes restore life with CPR, but in 2,000 years we haven't made very much progress in being like Jesus said we should. We just have a lot of fancy churches, robes, rituals, sayings and warnings.

Let's start with a simple on. Don't set aside your spouse except for THEM being aduterous.

Or does once saved always saved mean you can get away with murder.

Now get into your car and dump a ton of smog in God's air. It's not your air, you just get to use it until you pollute it so much you can't breathe anymore.

Now, that's the truth of it all, because it's self evident. Anyone who can see past the end of their nose can see that brown stuff on the horizon and taste the chemicals in their water.

Notice verses five and eight and you might see this has to do with religious people in the church first. Jannes and Jambres were into religion. Further this was information given to a young pastor.

Certainly this chapter applies to the entire world and will certainly apply to anyone who puts a one-sided trust in human intellect. Still one must remember that Christianity is worldly to a fault, in its present condition, and judgment begins at the house of God.

Considering Paul lived over 2000 years ago, I'd say no. He was describing those of other jewish sects who disagreed with him.

It seems a bit self-serving to me that they built insults against people who come to different conclusions into "God's word."

Most people live in their thoughts. The truth is felt. Life is felt, you can't live in your thoughts! :-)
