I tend to agree but many will not listen to you. You might like to do some reading on Ravi Zacharias's materials. Jesus was the only way of salvation and the ONLY hope there is so be prepared for people not being willing to accept that. Surah 5 says that muslims aren't even supposed to be friends with Jews or Christians .....
In Egypt they just released a man that spent 2 years in jail and is getting death threats for converting to Christianity from islam.

Those terrorist are only following what their clelrics tell them that the Quran says. This are the real facts about it:
Muslims are "playing just by ear" because the vast majority of them are not able to verify and/or confirm what they are told by their clerics that the Quran says.
The only version of the Quran accepted as truthful is the one written in Classical Arabic, language that is not even close to the Modern Standard Arabic of today. Not to mention that the countries that speak Modern Standard Arabic, have their own dialects per each country. Most of the people in Islamic countries have very little education or none at all. And even those that have a higher education, if they cannot master Classical Arabic, they cannot read and understand the Quran either. Only the "clerics" versed in Classical Arabic can read and understand the true meaning of the Quran. Those clerics are the ones actually guilty of all the misleadings on the message of the Quran, which they interpret according to their own agendas. According to those "clerics" each and every verse of the Quran has seven (7) meanings, to be applied accordingly (clever!) and no translation of the Quran is the Quran, only the original Quran is the Quran.
I've have the Quran and I've read it and nowhere it says that people should blow themselves up. All that violence and terrorism is an idea developed by extremists and the Muslims clerics that are following their very own ideas, not what the Quran says. Besides, I've read that Muslims hate developed countries because they cannot understand why their countries are not as developed when their civilization is much older, why don't they see that their clerics are the ones holding them back??
But those clerics and extremists want their countries to stay as undeveloped as they are otherwise their people will wake up to all the abuses they have been submitted all their lives for no reason whatsoever.

Just because their fiction is worse than your fiction does not stop it being fiction.
What sort of messiah curses a fig tree for the crime of not having any fruit at that moment?
What of the Spanish inquisition?
What of the witch hunts and trials?
What of the millions who have died in wars between protestants and catholics?
I am not claiming this makes sunni - shia conflict justified, but to point out that you are being very selective with your examples.
The majority of Muslims do not believe that the murderers and terrorists are following the teachings of Islam. Just as the majority of Christians do not believe that the Inquisition was following the teachings of Jesus.

Dude, before you give me a thumbs-down hear me out. I know you have good intentions, at least I hope you do, but this is no way to win an argument. You are clearly presenting this in a one-sided way. Why do you choose all ot the worst parts of the opposing side to compare against the best of yours?
There is a list a mile long of all the atrocities committed in the Bible, or because of it. You know that. We all know that. Your question was phrased well, but your analysis is self-serving. If you present both sides with equal effort, it will actually make your side more respectable in the eyes of the reader.

Your bible is corrupted. It is not all truth.
The bible didn't has been writen by hands of Christ. many years after him but Qur'an is God's word.
A real Muslim never kill another Muslim , any one who did it , is in big trouble and he will be punished by God.

About that 9 years old gilr, The real story is this that her father throw her daughter in Muhammad's house and told him to take this girl for himslef. Muhmmad grow a child.
He let the girl stay with him to protect her from that days which men treate with women worst than animals.

Plenty of 'christians' have had 'god' to tell them to do some pretty sick stuff too.
Muslims don't use the quran to blow up anything. Extremist muslims use peoples ignorance, fear, and hate to further their agendas.

How is your jesus doing, with all the violence around the world, he is a gigantic failure to me. Dump jesus and face reality, make the world better by your self, praying has never ever helped anyone any where.
