Yes. I did that a lot as a child. My mother taught me to. I rember Walt Disney's TV show used to come on with a theme song about "when you wish upon a star, make no difference who you are..."

yes I have a loooong time ago.

I can't even remember what I wished for though, but I remember that a coupla times it seemed almost to come true.
probably it was some adolescent dream of causing someone of the opposite gender to fall madly in love with me.....

technically - I suppose - it came true cause I'm married and my hubby loves me :)

Back when I was young and dumb and believed all the myths I was told. Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Jesus, Wishing wells and stars... etc.

When my daughter was little we did. We saw a shooting star once while watching a lunar eclipse. We wished then!
