Besides overuse of the computer, Fibromyalgia could cause the symptoms you are describing. I recommend you see a doctor of rheumatology to get an accurate diagnosis.

I've enclosed a link where you can read more about Fibromyalgia and what you can do at home to treat the pain.

Dear Ache,
The problem is not arthritis...it is called Computeritis.
It is caused by sitting on your PC doing this for too long at a time. I have arthritis as well as Computeritis. The only cure I ever found was disconnecting from the internet for a year, doing physical therapy, and promising the Dr. I would limit the time I spend on this to less than one hour a day. HA! Lays potato chips ring a bell?

sounds like a pinched nerve, but could be some sort of arthritis type of thing too...maybe see an orthopedic doctor? Sometimes they can use botox on spasms in neck muscles...

It certianly can but so can plain old stress and poor posture and a pillow that is too thick.
