The 1986 National League Championship Series between the Houston Astros and the NY Mets. I don't remember which game it was, but I'm pretty sure it was at the Astrodome. They sang a capella, and I'll always remember that as one of the nicest and most tasteful renditions of The Star-Spangled Banner.

I remember beyonce singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in 2004. I thought she was wonderful.
The performance I was least impressed with was the infamous version by Roseanne Arnold. Yikes!
