The person who hit you will be Liable for both your car and the car that you hit.

if you were hit, and pushed into the car that you hit .The person that hit you is responsible for both your car and the one he/she pushed you into .That makes you not liable for the car you hit as a result of you being hit .
for example;

(#1 car) > (your car) > (car you hit)
hit's you > pushes you > into next car
car #1 is cause of accident (it is a chain reaction accident )
