A couple things:

Do you style it a lot? Do you wear it in ponytails? Elastic can break your hair where it ties around it. To prevent this, either wear it down or if you have to wear it up put some smoothing lotion on it first.

Do you curl or straighten it a lot? Go natural some days, because this definitely damages your hair. At least apply a thermal protectant beforehand to guard it from the heat.

How often do you deep condition? You should be doing it at least once or twice a week, but no more than that with a protein based treatment (and for 30 min. each time).

Do you dye it a lot? Might wanna do it less often or be reaaallly careful and treat it well afterwards, especially if you bleach it. Get frequent trims too, to get rid of the split ends or else your hair shaft will keep splitting up and up and will be even shorter than if you were to get a trim.

How's your diet? That's another thing to consider.

Good luck :)

Poor you! I understand how you believe, I have a few pointers for you although :) Your epidermis turns into dry while you over wash your self, like say while you wash your face.. for those who over do it you ultimately wash out the entire common oils for your face which your epidermis relatively demands, equal because the leisure of your frame. So the following time you've got a bath do not over do it, be smooth and do not use an excessive amount of cleaning soap or frame bathe. And additionally a relatively well factor to do RIGHT AFTER you bathe is to moisturise in all places the dry places with a moisturising cream, I advocate Nivea. Because a few moisturising lotions (inexpensive ones) can dry out your epidermis much more! The equal factor together with your hair, it is exceptional to shampoo and situation your hair in COLD water, sure despite the fact that a few folks can not stand bloodless showers, it is honestly relatively well to your hair considering the fact that it tames it and makes it appear much less stupid and it leaves it feeling contemporary and glossy :) I wish this is helping x

I have this same problem. I would use so much conditioner and my hair would still be dry and frizzy. I have a solution! Instead of buying regular conditioner, buy the intense conditioner or conditioning mask. Generally you only use this a few times a week, though people like us need to use it everyday! Within a few days you will notice a dramatic difference!
Also, remember to put sunscreen on your hair before going out..the rays will make your hair worse.
Good Luck

Paul Mitchell has a line of products called Moisture. I use the shampoo/conditioner every other washing and they have a Moisture spray just to provide moisture. I could really tell a difference when I use it, even more so on the days that I shampoo/condition with those products.

Clairol now sells their hair colour conditioner by itself. This stuff is amazing. Look for a little blue tube in the hair colour aisle.
