We have no "proof" the Bible is accurate. In fact, ALL scientific evidence points to a stark contrary. The Bible was written by people, and there are countless times in human history where people have been proven wrong. Carbon dating can place the existence of the Earth to within thousands of years of an age around 4.57 billion years. As opposed to eight days. Call me jaded, but I would need a very impressive answer from a creationist.

By the way, the "Doubting Thomas" story is a very clever way to tell people who dare doubt the Bible and actually think for themselves that they're going to Hell. Well, that's a neat trick.

I am a Christian, and I believe carbon dating is good in it's limits. I believe in the "old earth" so the universe is about 14 billion years old. So what is the problem with science and the Bible? What the Bible says is accurate, such as blood flow in the body, and that the universe is expanding. The Bible isn't written as a science text, but what it says is correct.

If the Bible had "proof" it would be a science journal .But since you smart @rses can't provide scientific proof of the orgins I would have to hold on to the Bible.

I agree with your premise, but carbon dating is only a valid tool for measuring age in the thousands of years. We use radiometric dating to establish the age of the earth. Sorry,I'm a stickler for detail.

Quite funny to mix up the facts like you are. In fact more and more of the Bible is being shown to be true. Watch the Discovery channel once in a while. They have a series that covers the subject.

The biggest problem with creationism is that even the person who dreamed it up has admitted that he did so only because he thought traditional religious thought was being discredited by science.

There is not one single shred of evidence to prove creationism or the existance of a god let alone proof

I think it would be tough for someone only using science to grasp the concept of eternity with no beginning and no ending because its not something that you can test.

The fallacy is that "The Creator" didn't need to be created Himself in the first place.
