I guess the easiest way is complete the obilgation one signed up for, and honorably complete ones enlistment.

Some others that work well:

-get pregnant

-get asthma

-a hurt back is always good...

or failing a drug test

admitting one is a practicing homosexual...will be seperated quickly

Ive seen lots of non-hackers use these tools to get out of their obligation and let their fellow troops down.

Also, seen a few excuses that dont matter...like I enlisted, Im getting paid, but dont want to deploy cause my family will miss me.

good luck

During this time of war it may be difficult without first spending time in jail. It appears you are an Army wife.
I don't know about the Army, but I'm sure the rules are similar.

As a dependent of and armed service member, your husband is responsible for all of you , and your children's actions. As if he commit ed the infraction himself. Take for instance. If your caught drinking and driving on the installation, you husband would loose his driving rights. If you write bad checks, your husband is punished as if he wrote the bad checks. If you pulled all of the money out of the bank without his knowledge, and he wrote checks that bounced. he would be punished. There would be punishments imposed upon him. Starting with letter(s) of reprimand, this would lead to an article 15, and bust in rank, followed by a discharge from the Army. In all it would take several months in proceedings. He may also spend some time in correctional custody. "ARMY JAIL" He would probably be discharged with a General Discharge under honorable conditions.

This said. If he knows nothing about what your doing. Don't do it. If he's in a war zone. Don't do it! He needs to stay focused in order to stay alive.

If you are asking for your husband and you aren't dual military than that's up to him.

He has to finish his enlistment or resign his commision or spend time in Leavenworth. There is no easy way out and acting like an idiot, lying about things as some on here have suggested is just plain stupid and puts him and his whole troop at risk. Suck it up and drive on.............

If he is serious about getting out when his time is up than start planning now financially and job wise.

If he only wants out of war duty I'm sorry but he should have thought of that before he joined. Nobody in today's forces are coerced.

Try to make a list of all the good things and focus on those for the remainder of your military time.

I don't understand your question, if you're an army WIFE. Trust me, I've been through the military thing my whole life...I would never have judgement about ANYONE wanting out, especially right now. Are you asking on behalf of your husband? Has he talked to his CO? Conscientious objector status? I hope you get some help with this---I'm sure you'l get some pretty ignorant responses. Good luck.

You have to ETS out at the end of your term. The only other way is to get out for medical reasons, or get booted out for some other reason. This however can get you a dishonorable , or less than honorable discharge, then no one will hire you, and your life is ruined.

An Army friend of mine was caught in the act and admitted he was bisexual. He was out in a heartbeat with under Honorable conditions discharge. Mind you..he was CAUGHT IN THE ACT.

finsih up your term of enlistment and do not re enlist. Just be aware that your initial contrcat is for EIGHT total years, no matter how many years you are on Active Duty, and during those eight years you can be called back.. or not allowed to seperate.

The best way to get out? Wait until your enlistment is up.

Once you get injured your no good to them anymore. Once you can't do the physical training or really hurt yourself, they'll put you out EVENTUALLY. Get a profile stating no sit ups, no running and your bound to get the boot. I know from experience.....I didnt plan to get hurt i just got hurt and now i have a medical discharge.
