Jesus said the weighty parts of the law are mercy, justice and faithfulness

the whole Bible is important "man doesn't live by bread alone but on EVERY word that comes out of the mouth of God" however some parts are more foundational in some ways

creation is foundational in some ways
the flood is foundation in some ways showing God will judge sin
the convenant with abrahamis foundational showing God is a personal God
the law is foundational showing justic and mercy
the gospel beinds upon these and makes the mercies of God crystal clear in the work of Jesus on the cross in His death and resurection so people can glorify God leaning on the work of Jesus on the cross believing for eternal life

we don't know as many Gospels have been burnt, gone forever. Perhaps they were burned in err, and were most important. Maybe parts of the Bible that were edited/deleted were the most important. Its doubtful any part of the Bible, added by man would be considered important, as that would just be mans petty agenda's that seem important at the time. Pity the word of God has been corrupted by man.

Every thing in the bible is important if it werent so why would GOD put it there.

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

All of it!! It is a complete book from beginning to the end-which totally shows God's love for human beings in many different ways-all of which are not contradictions even though there is like 63 author's and covers perhaps a time line of 600 years. Good question.

As for the comment about the "God Deslusion" don't waste your time. I've heard him in debates and read some of his stuff, a waste of time and paper. "The Dawkins Delusion?" by Alister McGrath is a better choice.

Voltaire (they are using his house to print Bibles in), Nitzsche and Dawkins have all declared the end of Christianity and 2/3 are gone and Christianity is still here. You can listen to a Dawkin's debate at the www.rzim.org webpage under resources.

"100 per cent of us die, and the percentage cannot be increased." - C.S. Lewis

"Christ died for men precisely because men are not worth dying for; to make them worth it." - C.S. Lewis

The writings of the apostles that the people who compiled the bible rejected, especially The Apocryphon of John. If The Apocryphon of John is true, then the entire o.t. is not. Neither is the trinity or christian plan of salvation. Be smart, make sure what you believe does not contradict the fruits of the Spirit or attributes of God or what Jesus said. They should all agree.
