The English language distinguishes between God (with a capital letter) as the name of the monotheistic deity and god (lower case) as a general term for various deities, or various concepts of deity. There's a bit of a tension here, since most English-speaking people are generally monotheistic, so the term "god" tends to take on the implication of "not real." Since I am a pagan polytheist, I have to be careful about that capital letter.

As to mastering English, good luck. It is the most complex and subtle language in the world, in my opinion, and few native speakers really master it. If you get to the point where you generally understand what you read, and others generally understand what you write, you will be doing well.

We use all three. "Lord" usually refers to Jesus, especially when you're talking to Christians. "Almighty God" or "God Almighty" can be used interchangeably to describe any one of the monotheistic Creator Gods, more commonly simply referred to as "God", because most Christians are unaware that their god's name is Jehovah.

The answerer above me is correct as well, on both points. I've lived in the U.S.A. all my life and I can tell you that about 80% of people here don't understand how to speak or write in English correctly.

You suppose calling the president "Flubya" & pronouncing he can not talk English is a authentic query? As a Texan,with a thick accessory myself, I discover that very insulting. You query truthfully makes me suppose of Jeff Foxworthy's shaggy dog story "People pay attention this accessory & desire to routinely deduct 20 IQ elements." I am from Texas & have a gorgeous powerful southern accessory, as good. But I am very shrewd as are many different Texas' I recognize. My father used to be a missionary with a thick Texas accessory. He used to shaggy dog story that he spoke Spanish higher than English. But he used to be a first-rate guy! My factor is - concentrate to WHAT a folks say, no longer HOW they are saying it. Then we will be able to have an sincere debate. * And at the same time I agree that Monica Lewinsky has not anything to do with this question, just one individual resorted to the low degree of bringing her up. And that used to be just one notch scale down than the extent you already sunk to in "asking" that "query."

I've been studying English for 3 years, I find it a very tough language and backwards compared to the other languages I've learned. Perhaps in another 3 years, I can consider myself a master at English.
