Reincarnation* What qualities do you have that you believe may have been brought over from a previous life?

I can see in myself that I brought over my abilities in art. My daughter is superbly accurate with a bow and arrow- no practice what so ever in this life time. I get a very intense feeling of awe when I drive on a road that has shading patterns from trees. The cascading shadows turning from filtered light back to shade is very moving to me. Then, during a meditative moment I saw in my minds eye being surrounded by reeds filtering sunlight onto an ancient patio with pottery-Egyptian, and a feeling of happiness, almost overwhelming. "Happy Gods, the Gods are happy", I heard this thought coming from within me. Yet, I never believed in this belief, I am monotheistic in my belief here. Has anyone else experienced anything similar, from a sight, an almost familiar odor, a faint and fleeting feeling? And those of you who believe in "The Awakening", do you think such is happening to more people now that the "veil is thinning?"

I enjoyed reading your question.

I have kept close journals of these events for nearly 30 years. Then I put them together in a book "Dinner With DaVinci."

It is the culmination of finding my past 20 lifetimes or so. We carry over the soul and the entire personality. I say "You can and do take it with you."

I have had some so clear right down to the food we ate and clothes we wore. I kept dreaming not only of Egyptian lives, but also when I had been Jewish and heard "pray shabhat" and had no idea how correct that was until I heard it later on.

I have written a book about the awakening of people on a mass scale. It has been predicted, not sure what it's called. But someone predicted that people would one day make a study of their past lives. Why? Because they would begin to know and feel their presence. But we live in the past, present and future all at once. This is why past lives are really NOT past at all. We are the same person and when people start to realize this...boy things will change and spirituality will increase on earth.

Clearly there is no "The Awakening" or the veil thinning for everyone. What's happening is the veil thins for INDIVIDUALS and individuals awaken. When that individual is ready. There can be no mass occurance like you suggest or like some Christians believe with the 2nd coming of Jesus and a bunch of people being judged good and a bunch judged bad. So simplistic. People are in thousands of variants of evolutionary stages, each person progressing at his or her own rate. I really wish some of the originators of religions had been more educated and able to explain what they meant :-)

There are aspects of my current life that I think are not so much brought over from a previous life, but perhaps lessons I needed to learn due to a previous life.

I have had some impressions (dreams and also waking impressions) that I was one of the victims of Nazi terrorism. But then, chronologically that would not be too surprising, as I was born in 1947. Still, this is also a plausible scenario for my imagination to concoct, and so far I have not been able to distinguish my impressions from imagination.

I'm a super critical , misogynistic , fascist snob, acid tonged . Ive been told by psychics that arise to the height of society and then criticize it , consequently i have been assassinated many times , that's probably i have subconsciously kept a low profile in this life and shunned the mob by being a recluse .
But i do carry over aesthetic qualities
