I can't prove that you are wrong, but you might have checked out that second sentence; I think you have a double negative.
Do you have statistics? It would be interesting to know, as I have no idea just how common the practice of "honor killings" really is. Actually, given how many millions of Muslims there are in the world, I suspect one a day is a low estimate. That would only be 365 to 366 a year, and I suspect it is a good bit more than that.

Hmm I dont know much about Islam or its practices, but surely most religions involve God a higher being. If that is the case then surely your relationship with God is what is important and not the "religion" as such?
As for denying Islam is not responsible, If it is in its scriptures then yes it is responsible, if it is not in its scriptures it is a twisted truth that the masses have interpeted wrong.
People are not God. They cannot create a seed, the cannot make people, they cannot walk on water or make it rain. Only God can. If God is the only being that is perfect, surely he is the only one who can judge who dies and who doesnt. What gives one person the right, to kill another for honour?
You say you are an X Muslim? Have you found God? Once you find God and understand his ways, he will use you to change your country. It may be slow progress but be sure that the seeds you plant today, will bear fruit in the future.
Secondley, forgive those who have wronged those women. Anger and hate will destroy you and your plan or dream for peace. Do not fear them, for you will walk with God.
God Bless!

You are not wrong.
The so-called "honor" killings are a common practice in backwards nations.
When women are chattel, this sort of thing will continue. And yes, in muslim nations, women are seen as little better than dogs.

whenever you ask a question approximately what "has been shown" ... continuously confirm you ask ... ... *via WHOM*? what's the source? Is it a scientist publishing a paper in a peer-reviewed technological expertise mag? or purely some bozo with a level in "non secular practise" and a cyber web internet site? it relatively is relatively relatively important. truly, that's the completed factor!
