I want to get a tat on the inside of my thigh, but I have a few stretch marks there. Can you tattoo over stretch marks without it looking all stretched out. I have had these stretch marks for probably 18 years now and they have gotten no worse (serious growth spurt when I was 13) so I figure the tattoo will probably not stretch from the stretch marks later in life. I am just worried that tattoo-ing over them now will make it looked blurred or something. What do you think?

I've tattooed people over stretch marks, it looks really bad when it's fresh just because the stretch marks swell up worse then the rest of the skin. But after it calms down you only see a slight difference, and thats only if the stretch marks were a different texture of skin to begin with. But it def doesnt look bad when its healed, just dont expect them to smooth out or disappear under the ink.

I have tattoos on each of my hips, over stretch marks. The tats are beautiful. Don't stress it, you can't see the stretchmarks, the artist had no quams about tattooing over them and the tats are beautiful.
