The second season of Heroes which will begin Monday September 24, 2007, will consist of 24 episodes,and the first season of new spinoff Heroes: Origins will include 6 episodes.

Heroes has not been cancelled; in fact NBC was in a hurry to renew it after seeing the ratings. Glad to know it's only going to be 4 months.
