the us does not have a king...it has a president. kings are either absolute rulers or figureheads meant to keep a tradition. the president of the united states is the head of the executive branch and leads the country, but is only part of a process in making laws and policies in this nation. there are two other branches in a system of checks and balances designed to prevent a monarch or a dictator from taking over. alot of people forget this when talking about certain presidents they do not like...
