Read books to get some information and know when people are getting married in each different religion on earth then match those information with your lady's case.

Well, typically, most married women have a ring on their left ring finger. If she doesn't, and you're still unsure, just ask her politely. If you're too shy to do that, address her as 'Mrs' and see if she quickly says 'No, Miss or Ms'.
