The last time Charon was through, he said it's gone up to $18.75 but he's willing to give discounts to heroes and military personnel. He still has a fondness for pure silver and gold but since it's so hard to come by these days, he'll take coins. He doesn't take credit/debit cards and paper money, and he gets highly offended when someone asks for change. If you can find a $20 gold piece, you'll get a seat in the bow.

I can't work out VAT so I couldn't work that one out! Well, just do what the Greeks did and put a gold coin under the tongue of the dead person, hopefully it'll cover the cost!

2 coins. It'll ALWAYS be two coins. Doesn't matter what the denomination of the coins is as long as there are two. The ferryman is only interested in an OFFERING of payment and NOT the actual VALUE of payment.

I don't know which union scale is represented or if a tip is included with the fee. I would guesstimate $5.00 US
