Do you think that the Pakistanis are ruining our country?

I live in Glasgow and I'm hearing more and more about sacrificial killings, a boy here was dragged into a car by 2 men and tortured to death, he was only a child of 15. here's the story

Just 3 weeks ago my wife was walking down Victoria Road in Glasgow and an Asian man shot another man at the wheel of his car and he crashed into oncoming traffic causing serious injuries to other drivers.

The place is a mess, once respectable street have been taken over and turned into ghetto typed places.

What's your opinion? should they be sent home?

Their home is Pakistan, It's certainly not GLasgow, I can assure u of that, born here or not - they simply don't belong.

If they want to live in this culture then they need to accept and embrace that culture.

Its nothing to do with pakistanis, its the society we live in. getting absolutely drunk and beating the **** out of one another seems like the norm in the UK. The race is just an excuse to fight. Do you think if Glasgow never saw another race but white you guys would stop fighting or the slashing of the knife on the face would suddenly dissappear, or the smacking giros and heroin addicts would stop the robberries and muggings or all the rough Northeners would suddenly melt into gentlemans and have a posh city.

apart from that I really wish we all lived in a peaceful UK and hope all the nutcases get what they deserve.

I think the trouble is that they don't fit in. They aren't Pakistani in the traditional sense but they definitely are not British. Glasgow is or used to be a very cosmopolitan city that opened its arms and welcomed everyone in, and I think that is the crux of the problem, they have ignored the indigenous people in favour of 'outsiders'. There are too many religions competing against each other and they all claim the place as their own. The Government just sit back and let Joe public deal with these problems and then scream 'RACISM' at us when we dare to complain. The problem will not go away and will soon spiral out of control. When will someone listen and do something?

sorry I did not cheek the web sight but maybe you should visit Pakistan. I am English but just returned from there. I do not believe that Asian people do more crime than Europeans but do think the Media may make more of it but it you had stayed long in Pakistan I think you would wont to leave. water off regularly for hours or days and power cuts daily when the temperature gets to 40 c it is cruel to send all home because of a few evil people.

From the impression I have of Glasgow, isnt that a normal day. Makes a change from smack heads and drunks I suppose.

Oh, and I read the story you linked to. It seems that it was a revenge attack. Not that I condone it but what had happened before hand to provoke it? Oh thats right, a glassing. hmmm, less religously/race motivated more yob motivated I think.

Britons like to forget that Britain ruined many other countries... but theirs was a more deliberate and systematic destruction... unlike a few local scuffles and fights, which ALL communities take part in - asians, blacks and whites.

OK: yes I've read the piece - it's pretty bad of course, but it happens the other way too. Asians have been beaten up/killed by racists in this country for decades - you can't deny that. My dad used to be a taxi driver and was beaten badly once by a white guy who called him names and refused to pay.The scumbag beat my dad up while his OWN wife and kids stood there watching! I find it unbelievable.

Criminals and anti-social people come in all shapes races sizes and colours. As far as i can tell most people born here whose parents or grandparents have immigrated to this country are proud to be Brits but equally proud of their roots, most are law abiding decent people, it is the minority of every race living here causing the problems.

Wherever they go they cause trouble. You can tell an area where these folk live as it it usually run down and a ghetto. Except their cars; they seem to think it is OK to live in a sh1t hole as long as you have a Beamer or Merc parked outside....
