I'm a redneck and a biker and road songs usually refer to Southern rock, and or classic rock. Southern is Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, with a twist of Travis Tritt thrown in. Also covers Blues, which Eric Clapton and once again The Allman Brothers are known for.

Well, we used to live on a mountain range, and had to travel 1 hour each way to church (in the valley below). So we would always sing "She'll be Comin' Round the Moutain" as we drove, lol.

My Mum was also a Girl Guide leader (yes my GG leader) and she used to get us to sing this one:

Swingin' along the open road
Under a sky that's clear
Swingin' along the open road
In the fall of the year
Swingin' along, Swingin' along,
Swingin' along the open road
In the fall of the year

Swingin' along the open road
Swingin' along the open road
Swingin' along the open road
All in the fall, in the fall of the year

Swingin' along, Swingin' along,
Swingin' along the open road
In the fall of the year

PHEW! Glad that's over! My Mum is SO embarrassingly CORNY!

Added: I always love "No Particular Place to Go".
