It seems a lot of people live double lifes through the internet.
The internet has to bonus that we can pretend to be who we want to, this however would imply that we do not like who we already are.
In short, why do people insist on lying about themselves through the internet?
The only reason i ask is that i see questions and really wonder why.
There was a question just about IQ scores, and i saw someone through 3 edits increase their score to be the highest answerer.
The YA community has the biggest collection of love, computers, motor 'EXPERTS' in the world...
and yet most of these 'experts' seem to have a lot of time free during the day?
Well... i suppose the unemployed have to do something after Jeremy Kyle finishes.

Wow, i could forgotten that 'standard' human beings have not got such an interactive fact. I clarify, that my ailment, (clinically determined schizophrenia) is rather like an lsd trip, this works relatively nicely for coping. So like i basically trip continuously, get relatively freaked out via destructive vibes, locate the main mundane stuff ridiculously exciting, talk extensive quantities of bullshit, and take a verify out to forget approximately approximately people who threaten me with fact. there is many distinctive warning signs of schizophrenia, and the sub categories overlap, so in case you do have this extreme and particular regrettably disabling sickness, you're growing to be to be a large type of the indications, yet very no longer likely all. to illustrate, i do no longer relatively hallucinate, (i've got faith to be between the main difficulty-unfastened warning signs) and you have no longer reported this the two, property you have reported although; situation socialising, television is probably further and extra interactive, telepathy perception, bothered sleep, i'm exceedingly particular are all relatively difficulty-unfastened. fact is actual anybody is deluded, however the belief police ban some ideals and society labels you.

I wouldn't say it promotes it, although I would say it promotes it ....
Seriously though, the Internet doesn't promote it, but just makes it easier to be who you wish to be rather than the person you are. Many do not like themselves overly or are striving to be who they want to be and the easiest place to test how and what that is, is by being that person in a place where ridicule or rejection is at least reduced to a few words on a screen.
As for Experts with a lot of time on their hands, many also do not like the place they work either .... so escape to the fairy-tale land of YA.

I do notice that people seem to lie a lot on the Internet, but lying about yourself isn't the same as having something like schizophrenia. It's just lying, easy as that. It's the same thing as going up to someone in PERSON and saying, "Hey, I have an IQ of 165!", when in reality you have one much lower.
The Internet doesn't promote schizphrenia. It does, admittedly, make it a lot EASIER for people to lie, but it doesn't promote that, either. People make their own choices, and if they decide to lie on the Internet, that's their issue.
