Perhaps you are lifting a burden too large. Exhaling strongly in order to increase your "core strength" to move the load.
Perhaps you are "fearful" and yell when surprised.
Perhaps you yell to hear your voice echo...to entertain yourself?

To be heard. When "inside" voices arn't registering in my husbands one track mind in a argument. I think he is about the only one I yell at. Besides a friend in a crowd or excitement on a rollercoaster or to fend off an attacker or rockin out to the Cranberries.
