What is YOUR Definition of a "Slut"?

Isn't it just a word imposed on others by some who might be jealous or insecure or just plain rude?

I'm talking about the word "S L U T"

but Glen what's wrong with a woman who loves sex? what if the woman is safe and clean and doesn't have a boyfriend but enjoys sex? Is she still a s lut? Now let's make her male? is she still a s l u t?

I can see that everyone has their own definiton for that word. In all I would like to say that some women use it to describe other women and it is a sign of ugliness and immaturity. I personally think the word shouldn't exist. But to each his own I guess...

I've always believed that women have the same right as guys to enjoy themselves. Why can a guy can and a girl can't? If a girl that sleeps around is considered a slut, then so should guys. That double standard has to do with machismo and insecurity.

Men want to be able to go out there and have all the fun they want, but their women is supposed to be innocent and clean. It also have a lot to do with the fact that men are very insecure about their own sexual performance. We worry about everything, including our penis size.

Having a girl that is sexually inexperienced and/or whom hasn't had a lot of partners, allows us to feel secured. The reason being that the more partners a girl has had, the more guys that she has to compare us to. Men hate to be compared with other men.

I truly believe that the name calling such as sluts and whores was started by men to suppress women’s sexual needs and to protect their own fragile ego. Which also served to keep women’s power in check. Men have always been physically stronger than females and were generally better educated. But women have always had something that have brought even the strongest men down to his knees. Something has even made kingdoms and countries to go to war…that is the one thing that women have between their legs. Which is the essence of her femininity and what drives men to do stupid acts even today.

The only way of suppressing that power was by suppressing women’s sexual needs. A women who’s smart, educated and who knows how to use her feminine wonders, is a force to be reckon with. Please, don’t think for a second that I’m insinuating that women need to sleep around in order to gain power or move up the corporate ladder.

It’s amazing how much women have progressed in the last 100 years, but even with their new gained power and place in society, most still like to play the game that men designed for them, and women are quicker at criticizing other women, even faster than men. Isn’t it amazing how well men have programmed women over the years? I think so!

I think that both men and women should be able to have as much sex and has many number of partners as long as you are single and are not spreading any disease around. And as long as you practice safe sex and are willing to take responsibility for your actions.

So for me a S L U T is not a girl that sleeps around. For me a S L U T is a woman or a MAN who sleeps around while they are in relationship or who plays with some one else’s feelings. In simple words, if you cheat! If you hurt some else in the process of you getting your stupid sexual urges off, then to me, you are the lowest of the slowest. If you want to sleep around, then end your relationship and have fun. But cheating turns anyone into a low life trashy S L U T!

The way I see it, is that I don't care what a girl has done in the past, whether she has been with 2, 15, 50, 100 or more guys or who she has been with in the past (as long as she's healthy and disease free), what I care is what she does while she's with me and how she treats me. By the way, trust me, I do and have practiced what I preach.

Oh I am so glad you put this question up!! I have a very strong opinion on the word S L U T or other similiar words like S L A G etc. Those words are words created by men to make women feel guilty and repress women from sexual liberation. As far as I am concerned those words do not exist except for in the narrow, chauvinistic minds of bully type old fashioned bigots. Men and women should be equal, and if a woman enjoys sex and experimenting then how dare anyone call her a slag? would her male counterpart be called the same? No he would be slapped on the back and congradulated by his mates.

I suppose a woman who sleeps around and isn't particular about who she sleeps with. I know a few men like that too. It's mainly used as a cheap insult when the person can't think of another name.

I think a s lut is a woman other women hate, sometimes because she 'steals' men , sometimes because she's a lesbian and sometimes because she was raped. It isn't a kind word and I hate it.
