It's every three months.
If you brush your teeth at least twice daily, I don't think there would be anything left on your brush after three years!
I don't know if you can brush with a stick...lol.
Also I get a cleaning every six months and they give me a free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. But then I'm like...I need two toothbrushes since I'll be back in 6 months and I need a new toothbruch every 3 months...right?
The dentist gets the toothbrushes free anyway from the toothbrush cie, so just ask for two instead of one.

I suspect it's more like every three months! The bristles wear down making it less effective and it's a breeding ground for bacteria!

No, it should be every three months or when the bristles on your brush start to bend aside.
