A good supporting bra.
A warm facewasher or heat bag.
And pain medication.

Also a wonder drug that they don't tell you about that cures painful breasts in 3 months is 1,000mg of Evening Primrose Oil capsules once a day. Available from Health Food shops, chemists and supermarkets.
A Doctor friend and breast specialist of mine uses them to treat patients with inflammation of the breast tissue.

I used them after getting an inflammed lymph node. Ouch! And it was cured and a Hell of a lot less painful in just 2 months.
But you will need to take it for the 3 months to say if it works for you or not.

In addition to the heat and the medication something I did to help with the tenderness is that I got a larger sized bra and that seemed to help the problem for me.

Try either a heating pad or a warm damp washcloth. It always works for me!
