Find your passion. It's there somewhere, just waiting for you..... it is a skill you have that you haven't discovered yet. Life is far too fascinating for any boredom! When even sex is boring, it is a clear indicator that you are searching for something that is very deep and meaningful. Start to dream.... daydream.... about things that you would like to do or places you would like to see. If you are into journaling, write these down, then expand on them, really think about them. Maybe you are really an artist, or a designer, or an engineer, or a cabinetmaker, or a stockbroker, something other than what you are doing now. Check out your local bookstore or library, and look for books about people just like you, and how they overcame this "roadblock" to life. And then perhaps look for biographies of people you admire, because there will be something about their attitude or knowledge that will inspire you. Best wishes!

Once you understand that it impossible to find everlasting happiness, you'll realize that the best we can hope for is to find moments of happiness in our lives. As a flower wilts, so does the life force dwindle behind the memories we struggle to hold on to. Nothing last forever. That is the bittersweet legacy that god has left us. Everywhere we look we see the fading essence of youth that once was, and our hearts break for it's return. It's etched in the faces of those we loved the most, each line, each withered wrinkle reminds us of the saddened passage of time, time that will soon be no more. It is then that we, with heavy hearts, have to say good-bye to them forever. Everything and everyone beautiful that you ever felt, touched, smelled, became one with, savor it, drink it in, for soon it shall be no more. don't be unhappy for its' passing, that you'll never have it again. because that's the way that life is. bored is only a state of mind. Once you develop a new perspective, you develop a renewed appreciation for that which you have taken for granted. Don't look for a happy life, just happy moments.

When you are bored with everything the ego has been taught to pursue, you'll be closer to remembering what brought you here. You are not your thoughts and feelings, you are the observer of them, trying to remember what you love. Eternal aliveness, the end of the duality you refer to, cannot be achieved without the death of your little learned self.

If you use your imagination

joy is a source of wonder,

sorrow is a source of strength,

and sex is better than you could have imagined.

Try God - as in having a relationship with God. Man is created with a longing that only God can fill. Unless you find God you will always be bored and unfulfilled. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Find a church that teaches the Bible and find God. God bless you in your search.

That's the reason why life is so short, but long enough to try what you want to experience.
