How to wear a Garter Belt?

Hi,
I recently brougth a set of lingerie and it comes with Garter Belt and i brought stocking sepeartely but for some reason i don't know how this model can attach this belt with the stocking. http://www.sfu.ca/~rleeb/81065.jpg
can someone help me please.

Thanks for everyone answer but the thing is i don't see anything like a metal loop because my stocking doesn't comes with it i brought is sepeartely so would that be a problem and here is a picture of how the garter belt look like

it just look like a rubber thing.

the garter should be worn around the natural waist (near the navel) with the elastics hanging down, then the stockings should be pulled up and the elastic straps will then have to stretch tightly to reach the stockings. panties may be worn inside or outside the straps. (or not at all...teehee)

I don't fully understand your question. The stockings shown in the picture are correctly attached to the belt.

At the ends of the straps that come down from the waist belt are, on each strap, a flap of rubber with a button like protrusion coming up from the side, and a metal loop that looks like a large round hole, with a small slot out towards the end.

You place the rubber nub on the inside of the stocking, on the reinforced upper edge, and the metal loop on the outside. The stocking is caught between the two. You push the rubber button through the large hole of the metal clip and slide it into the smaller slot of the clip. The clip goes under the button portion of the rubber, holding the stocking to the clip. Repeat this proceedure for the clip on the rear strap, and make sure your seams are straight.

1] put belt on at hips, not waist
2] put stocking on [ make sure it isn't twisted ]
3] pull stocking a little higher than comfortable, up over the rubber part of garter. Loop metal ring over rubber, and pull up so stocking is 'locked' in place. Repeat with other garter, and other leg.
4] make sure garters are in front and on side of thigh - they are very uncomfortable to sit on!
