Interesting question, may be yes, because Voldemort would normally never think of removing the horcrux, right? I mean, it's meant to be hidden. On the other hand, since he was the one who set the spell, may be he would know other ways to break them, without having to drink the potion.

Good question. Well, it IS possible that he may have to drink the potion, and it's possible that he might not, but whatever he'll have to do, it'll surely not harm him. If he does have to drink it, It will most likely have a neutral effect on him, since as you said, nothing else can be made to change it's nature.

Voldemort knows deep, dark magic that most do not know, and can do things that most people can't. I'm sure that he's the only one that knows how to get around the spell.

i think not..if you're the one who set up a trap, you will a have on how to dismantle it, right? so i think it's the same with voldemort.

I am sure his own spells recognise him , so that he does not have to drink thepotion.
