This is the wrong question to answer before breakfast. But, if you are homeless, and you need to survive, and if the cat is a stray, than I would say it's fine (yuck). There have been more difficult survival questions like; would you eat dead humans if you were in a plane crash, and stranded on top of a mountain?

I was homeless for a long time, and i would never revert to that,for one,its inhumane,for two,there are many places you can go to get food. and if worse comes to worse,there many fruit and vegetables growing everywhere,or go to any restaurant,tell the manager your situation,and just about any place usually Will give you something.Or i have even gone to the dumpsters"i know it sounds gross" but many fast food restaurants are sanitary inside,and at the end of the day throw away what is not sold,it is placed in clean bags and sealed then put in the bins.Or the supermarkets throw out day old items,also put in clean sealed bags usually still in the original packages,just about whatever you would "buy"will be in this category.

I think the more important matter is, would it be wrong for a hungry stray cat to start eating on a homeless person while he's sleeping?

Just wondering...did Yahoo also suggest the "Food and Drink" section for this question also? Also...if its ok to eat hot dogs why not cold cats?? (i Am kidding i'm an animal lover too!)

Yes it is sooooo wrong. Being homeless doesnt' give one the right to kill animals. If a homeless person is hungry he/she can go to the public kitchen and get food there

If you were starving and hungry ,would you think it wrong to eat a cat for food? You would eat what ever you could catch. I know I would. If I was hungry enough or my children were. Why would it be wrong. If you don't like him eating the cat , feed him something else!

our local Chinese restaurant got in trouble for putting cat meat in their food. And no it is not right homeless people can be charged with animal cruelty also! Thats what soup kitchens and the salvation army are for.

It's gross whether or not it's wrong. I'd find something to eat besides a cat even if I was homeless.

you should be ashamed of yourself...homeless people are humans too...would you do that? well come on you know better...remember that the next time you see a homeless person and show them some respect...come on...
