the force of gravity between 2 objects is 8 N. one object has a mass of 2 kg and other object is 100meters from it. what is the mass of the second object

Yes!! F = G*m1*m2/d²
If yu honestly can't 'plug and play' with that equation, you really have no business being in a physics class because you clearly haven't met the prerequisites.

M2 = Newtons * d^2 / G * M1
